7 days baby having billrubin level 17.1 on 7th day. kindly suggest doctor.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. The baby needs phototherapy so follow your doctor advice and if not then expose the baby to morning sunlight atkeast 20 mins per day abd keep feeding the baby well on regular intervals

In such case you should definitely consult with your doctor and it is very common in newborn babies doctor can only advise you well of examining baby and check in babies reports. You should never give any sort of medication to your baby till it is not advised by doctors of first consult with your doctor about it
