6 year old kid i is having persistent night cough. No sputum comes out. She is coughing from 145am to 630 am and doctor gave ventrylD and Allegra 60ml for this. Gave the medicine today but she seems sleepy after that. Is it normal? Should I discontinue medication? What to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu whevre most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with tghat cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.g
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
