A. At 6 months, the baby should be given Trivalent Influenza Vaccine otherwise it can cause infection of the respiratory system. Dose 1 is given at 6 months and dose 2 is given in a gap of 4-6 weeks. Oral Polio Vaccine is administered between 6-9 months of age. Hepatitis B prevents liver disease and it is also administered right at the 6th month mark. All the vaccinations are important. Some have to be given at the right time and some can be postponed to later. Please contact your doctor or vaccination center about which vaccinations need to be administered right away and which can be postponed.
