6 month baby suffering from loose motion. My aunty given ofloxacin & ornidazole without my knowledge. this medicine prescribed by medical.pls give me solution

Common causes of loose motion in babies maybe- if he is teething then babies tend to put everything in the mouth this leads to infection and stomach upset. sometimes introduction of new food or medication can also be the cause. Food allergy may cause diarrhoea and if baby is on antibiotic treatment he may still get loose stools as the good bacteria of intestine are killed Sometimes it can be due to viral diarrhoea If baby is passing loose stools then you need to consult with your doctor for proper assessment and the necessary medications. meanwhile keep him well hydrated by giving ample amount of fluids like ORS, coconut water, buttermilk You can give a mashed banana and pureed apple Light and easy to digest home made foods like khichdi dalia ,sabudana khichdi suji upma along with curd. Can give little jaiphal or nutmeg either powdered or rubbed with water

Sonam PrasadMom of a 9 yr 9 m old boy7 years agoA. hello dear you can give him sabudana water Soak two table spoon sabudana in water n boil after sumtime for 10 mins After boiling it becomes lil thick sieve n cool lil n feed yur kid it helps stopping motion. moong dal khicdhi Also give ORS coconut water in small quantity r, barley water to compensate lost water from body. If yur baby is not active n still pass motion meet Dr immediately
