Its better to wait till 6 months by that time baby's bowel will be mature enough to accept semi solid foods

At This stage you just have to give formula feeding to the child or breastfeeding whatever you are giving actually from the very beginning and the complimentary food that you’re talking about can only be started after completing the age of six months not before that
