Q.

4 week newborn has frequent gas and tries to release and sometimes pain due to gas. Is it normal and if yes how long it will be there ?

A. it's quite normal n common.. it get normalise by Time. Post feeding burping is importan. To help expel gas Practicing tummy time will help. Massage on tummy in clockwise direction. Apply hing paste around navel

A. Burp the baby during and after feeding. Burp the baby every 5 mins. Always feed the baby in an upright position. Tummy massages are a great way to reduce gas build up in babies. Lay the baby on its back and gently rub the baby in a clockwise motion and then run the hand down the curve of his tummy. This helps the gas to move easily through the intestines.
