Temperature is normal axillary temperature more than 99, oral more than 100, rectal more than 100.4 degree Fahrenheit is fever. . just feed well. wear comfortable clothing. do sponging with water at normal temperature, not too cold. it helps in taking temperature down. do not give medications without prescriptions. consult your doctor in case of persistent fever, poor oral intake, excessively sleepy child.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old boy6 years agoA. hello the body can be warm even with the without the temperature..the temperature range of 96.9 is a normal temperature range and nothing to worry about when there is no temperature notice in the thermometer but just make sure that your thermometer is working fine
