Q.

3.5 yrs kid, having cough and cold but fever coming thrice a day from last two days... maxtra and tixylix giving to child... is this ok or do i need to change medicine?? and why fever not under control yet.

A. Hello you are very much so you have to give him proper antibiotic and cough syrup and see that he is not having a dehydration and simultaneously give him plenty of water as well

A. Fever can go up till the time of three days but it is necessary that it should subside maximum within three days if it is not subsiding then you need to go ahead with further evaluation with your doctor as it could be due to viral or any other problem
