Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity. try to prevent temperature variations around the child you can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold continue the regular diet of the child if there is ndo improvement in few days then meet your doctor for fever and pain give paracetamol. anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. Coconut oil with camphor is one of the best home remedies for the blocked nose, cough, and fever. Heat coconut oil and mix camphor, Apply the lukewarm mixture on the nose, palms, behind the knees, chest, and soles when the child is sleeping. A night of restful sleep is guaranteed.
