Q.

2 weeks old new born TSH got 8.17 and FT4 is normal. Our doctor referred to Endocrinologist. Any thoughts?

A. No I’m getting it checked because the figure that you’re mentioning are usually common to be seen with kids these days so if your doctor is referring you to another doctor then you should go ahead with that because they do not want to have any kind of doubt and understanding and clarity over the current situation that is there
