2 month old baby… having cough… already visited doctor who prescribed antibiotic for 7 days… course already given and completed on last Tuesday and baby was fine but since yesterday night seems cough disturbing at her throat again. What to do ?

A. kindly continue the medicine given by your doctor and take a follow up after few days of starting medicine. follow up is also required because the doctor will tell you whether you have to continue the same medicines or there will be changed in the medicines . recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or both. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding thisc. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication . it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery
