Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in suchx a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age.
intermittent crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to conxstipation.
