Q.

#askexperts 2.5 months old having colic problem and farts alot...doc suggested Biogaia protectis drops..but it's not available in the market...as it's supply stopped throughout India..any alternative medicine?

A. yes alternate is available so know gas is common problem and best way is avoid bottle feeds. Give only mother milk by mother feeds. Burp baby well after feed for 20 mins . you can make baby lie down on tummy side to ease gassy pain. give drops gastica 1 ml when gassy trouble. Colic is common ,give drops meftal spas 0.5ml when pain ,usually happens at evening time. Do cycling movements of legs. Avoid daily giving medicine
