1month 10days baby having cough so we can give tusli for baby or what we can do naturally in home and she will be sleeping on side

Deepika MMom of a 5 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. baby is 1 month old.. please don't try any home remedies... visit paediatrician only.... at this age you should not treat baby by yourself...

Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause . As a home remedyy you can start with steam inhalation . Cough can be treuated with cough suppressant or antitussives as per the cause. For cold antihistamines are useful and nasal saline drops are also benifecial .
