Q.

17 months old baby n anterior fontanelle not closed even after giving calcium n vitamin syrups so doc telling it might be due to arrested hydrocephalus to rule this he advised MRI so pls help me Wat s this and any treatment s ther

A. most of the times the anterior fontanelle will be closing by 18 months of age

A. U Please take an advice from a second a paediatrician I mean just go ahead with a second opinion and then only you see whether you want to go for an MRI or not it is not a very easy job for a child to go for MRI so it’s better that you first discuss it with any other doctor and then go ahead with it then take a decision
