Q.
10 months baby had fever from last 2 days and gave drops as prescribed by pediatrician. But now baby temperature shows 97.9 degree but still his body is heat .what is the reason please suggest.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child and if it is 100 or more then only consider it has fever and give paracetamol otherwise the temperature you have mentioned is normal so no need to worry and children will have slightly warm head palms and soles normally

Give ultra D3 drops
Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk
Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
