ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician5 years agoA. l size diaper would be ok for the weight of your baby and you should choose accordingly with your fits your baby properly but it should not be tight and you should keep changing every 3 to 4 hours

But choose about brands , because every brand have weight ranges bit different (8-13) (9-14) and elasticity also matters how much it can be stretched. As you are saying L is little tight you can stretch elastic for making it bit loose and fit for baby comfortably.
