1 year old baby medicine for fever.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or smore is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal dtemperature water.
higher medicines whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

pediatric peracetamol drops or calpol drops can be given as per doctor's prescription or as per instructions given on packet
please keep your child well hydrated
avoid overdressing
give decotion of warm water and Tulsi leaves in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours.
