Q.

1 month baby stool with small of amount blood so we checked with doctor, he prescribed taxim o drops, is that effective and what is the cause for blood in stool

A. hi mom blood in the stool of new born babies can be due to multiple reasons such as infection anal fissure due to constipation etc ... so plz follow ur doctors advise

A. and also doctor told we need to do ultrasound for baby to check infection is that necessary?

A. Hello ma’am Mostly blood in stool indicates a stomach infection so your doctor Has already given you a dosage of antibiotics for your child to continue with it I am sure with the stomach infection will subside automatically so there’s no need to be worried about for the same and it is one of the best antibiotics your doctor could have given you
