Q.

#asktheexpert - our baby girl was born premature and lived in nicu for 2.5 months. she was discharged from hospital with weight 2 kg on 25th nov 24. She is on formula feed. we give her 10-12 feeds per day with 1.5 scoop in 45 ml water of pre nan nestle formula. but her weight is increasing just 10-15 gram per day. is it normal?

A. With a premature weight can be little slow so you can check with your doctor if you need to increase the amount of milk and any other medication which is going to help in increasing the weight of your child over the period
