Around 3-4 months, they start rolling. It’s also different for every baby. They take their own sweet time. Mine started rolling over to be on her tummy somewhere around the age of 3 and 1/2 months but didn’t roll onto her back (to and fro) until 5 months 10 days. She would just be on her tummy struggling. At night as they tend to roll over and are unable to roll back initially and bury their face in the baby pillow or mattress and start crying. Also from the age of 2 and 1/2 months. Always be careful not to leave the baby alone on the edge of bed or diaper changing table without any barricade. They surprise you by rolling over and give no signal before doing that, even for the first time.
