being pregnant is truly a roller coaster ride we get mood swings and get pampered a lot though it may be husband or in laws everyone around us make us feel special we eat without getting tensed about our body We just start thinking about our baby, and wish his or her good health

Two pink lines appeared in the pregnancy test kit and it all get started, Mother Hood was not developed, but an exuberant feeling was developed. Nine months, a big time but flies like an arrow, few days were so tough, big belly, pigmented body, inflated face, have not seen my feet for almost 3 odd months😜walking like a king just because it was not possible to walk with joint thigh 🙂Office , work pressure, from Medium to large, extra-large dresses, no makeup days ,maternity photo shoot, trying hard to get good sleep, yuk that bad nausea , and apart from all this a movement of a child who was inside and was growing and yes I was so pregnant 🥰

It will be a normal delivery with that before unbearable labor pain or will be a C-sec with an unbearable pain afterwards, so many thoughts, lots of phone calls, videos articles just to know what it looks like and how this all will happen, but trust me this feeling is different and can’t describe in words.

And finally saanvika is here, a little bundle of cuteness, innocent face, big eyes which always gaze.

It all looks so beautiful, photos, congratulations calls, sweets, happiness on faces, but what about the mother and motherhood, she is in pain, that surgery pain, straight body, no pillow, no movement, IV cannula, BP Heartbeat monitoring, no food, and most important she can’t even hold her baby like she wants to and even can’t see her face because she is struggling with her own body, and by evening, she needs to feed her baby.

Pregnancy, delivery, feeding everything is so natural, but for the one who deals with it, it is tough, every day of pregnancy was hard, delivery was unyielding and feeding , tough task it was.

From hospital to home, from maternity gowns to pyjamas and tshirts, but life has taken a 360 degree turn. Heavy breast, leakage, pain in stiches, bleeding ,body ache, long sitting feeding sessions a boring yet most important part, issues while walking and every movement, and unwanted issues like UTI,Cough cold fever pain during urine, taking fluids, understanding that what mother eats, the health of child depends on it, tired body which needs rest but sleepless nights, a crying baby and even you don’t know the reason, a full time job for which no any knowledge and without any prior experience and yes this is what motherhood is.🙏🏻

No matter a mother is working or not, she is breast feeding her child or giving formula milk, taking care by herself or has a nanny, she is worth for what she is, she should be praised and appreciated for what all she did and will be doing for rest of her life, the bond which she has with her child is irreplaceable and beyond words.

After 5 years of trying, so many ultrasounds, n number of pregnancy strips, multiple doctor views and thousands of prayers finally i had 2 pink lines on 11th October 2018. I couldn't believe it and thought that strip is incorrect. Doctor suggested another test next day and then afterwards we were on cloud 9. We (me and my husband) were soooo happy that we couldn't control our feelings. The real thing came afterwards. Evening sickness, sleepless nights, cervix dilation in 4th month, complete bed rest was so depressing, every week injections were painful, gestational diabetes and insulin injections. My pregnancy was so difficult but I was enjoying each and every single day and we were waiting for THE DAY. Baby movements were the cherry on the cake. We used to wait for baby movements and loved the feeling of being parents. My daughter had 2 cord loops around her neck. This scared us. Then came 21st May 2019. We went for routine checkup and NST (required due to cord loops). Doctor advised for emergency c-section and we were in the hospital with both the mommies. Mommies were praying for everything to be fine and i was nervous and happy. Confused feelings they were. After all the preparations and tests, a doctor came and said- enjoy these last baby movements in your tummy of your baby afterwards this baby will belong to everybody in your family. So true it was till the birth, baby was only mine. They took me to OT. I waved to mommies and went in with my husband. He was waiting outside and i was in. When they gave me anaesthesia to numb my lower body but i felt numbness in my whole body and couldn't breathe. At exact 6 pm i heard my baby crying and as and when i saw her and kissed her my hands started to move and I could breathe. easily. My little baby changed my world. Now we are a complete family. Rutwee, my daughter is our world. She is papa's princess and mumma's doll.
