Always clean it with wet wipes before putting on another diaper and make sure to use a diaper rash cream after bathing the baby.I have been using chicco diaper rash cream and it is a great one.

I recommend to clean the area with wet tissue and apply B4 nappie cream to avoid rashes before changing diaper
