Breastfeeding-Not as easy as it sounds!
mother milk is the best food for baby,i hard to try feed my baby, because my nipple is very small
want to share my experience...in my first pregnancy doctor advised me to use nipple shield because I am having flat nipples and my baby was not able to suck...and that was my biggest mistake....my little boy gets addicted to nipple shield so badly that if I put him on breast he doesn\'t want to open his mouth ....I was so worried ...but nothing worked due to that my milk supply decreased...he doesn\'t got sufficient mother\'s milk and I had to bottle fed him with formula milk. but in my second pregnancy I was determined not to use nipple shield . second time I started using nipple puller at the end of my pregnancy after my baby girl was born same scenario happened she was not able to suck dr advised me nipple shield....but I ignored her advice.i continued giving her formula milk with spoon until my milk came in... I used to put her on my breast when she is not hungry...I tried to give maximum amount of breast tissue in her mouth so that she could suck as I was having flat nipples... initially it was too difficult for her but within week she started sucking very nicely now she is 3 month old and exclusively breastfed.my advise to new mother\'s is give sufficient time to your baby for learning how to suck...they will definately suck successfully and do not ever use nipple shield no matter what is your nipple size... nipple shield tend to decrease your milk supply.and remember your baby is breastfed not nipple fed.

“Mother’s milk is the Best food for baby “
As it gives……
Enough nutritious food
It gives love and secure feelings
It’s very good source of antibodies
It doesn’t need any preparation
It doesn’t need money
It doesn’t give any infection except…
It can be given at any places
It develops child mother bonding
So CHILDREN ARE VERY CLOSE TO MOTHERS THAN FATHERS

I was prepared a lot and searched a lot about pregnancy but I never gave attention to breastfeeding, I thought as baby come out she will latch.. Its just that easy, no one told me that there aslo many difficulties. My pregnancy period was just awesome. My life's most lovely days.
But here is the catch.. My baby came through c section, I was not able to sit to latch her.. 2 days left.. Milk came but due to flat nipples I was not able to feed her, I dint know what to do.. To much depression as well as pain.. My mother was trying to make nipples by tieing thread n all.. But i was sure there must b some solution for this.. I bought breast pump, n started pumping n giving my milk to her.. She was exclusively on formula.. Pumping helped me to stable my milk supply. I used to try to feel baby but no success... My hands used to get pain due to pumping, n back pain was severe as in one hour I used to pump only 50 to 75 ml... Husshhhhhh
And on 21st day after baby born... She latched successfully.. Omg what a relief it was.. Then I dint realize how days left.. Now she is 16 months old and still on breastfeeding exclusively.. And I'm very happy.
I would suggest FTMs to get prepared for this in advance, search about it.. Have everything handy.. Like breast pump, nipple shield, nipple puller.. Etc..
Make charts about diet for milk supply n all.. Before delivery itself... It would be a good relief
If u do it, u will never face post partem depression :))
Love u mama's.. Tkcr
same problem for me...my baby is 17days old and still I have to pump milk and feed her...I hope i will get success soon...
my baby was in nicu when she was born for 3 days. there they gave her tube milk. so she got addicted to milk that come in good flow. my milk didn\'t came good enough for 10 days. so i used to use breast pump and feed her with bottle. it was so difficult and time taking to feed her via breasts. but she slowly learnt it. today when i am writing this she is sleeping in my lap having breastfed.
