Discussion about Breastfeeding-Not as easy as it sounds!

I am a mother of 5 months baby. in another month u am planning to join back to my work. I wish to continue giving mother feed for my baby though not through direct feed. I have many questions running in my mind on how would I store milk for him. how would I use it. This is a phase that every working first time mom would come through. please help me guys

u can pump and store it in the fridge.. u can double boil it ( keep the bottle of cold milk in vessel containing hot water till it turns warm) u can store milk like this for 4-6montgs also.. fresh milk can be given to baby within 2-3hrs at room temperature with refrigeration.. but if ur planing for whole day then chilling us only option.. I have seen a video that a mom stores upto 1lt of milk per day..

hi, my baby was in icu immediately after birth due to meconium aspirations for 8days.. he was on nan formula little bit on mine too.. but somehow he feels satisfied wen he has nan even after he is breast feed. shortly don't know y he is rejecting my milk.. I m emotional let down due to this.. but I m not going to lose heart going to try all over again .. let c I have crossed fingers.. for all the mom's out there ur milk is is the best gift u can give r child so don't deprive them off their right gift

for me it was like concuring the mount evrest because due to many complication during n after pregnancy i didn't get chance to nurse my betu for 15 days n he became habitual of formula...then i introduced bottle then nipple shield then direct feeding n finally he accepted my milk after 1 month..What i struggled is my achievment coz many of other mums i seen they left efforts and continued formula only, but i didn't give up, and apart of limited dose of formula he enjoyed my full milk upto 1 year..

When I was pregnant, I always thought that it would be very difficult for me to feed my baby. I thought, I might just do it for 6 months and that's it.
But when he arrived and cried to be fed. Something changed in me.
It was very tough initially, where everyone tells you that you are not making enough milk, your nipples are too small, your Boobs are too big. and what not.
I took some while for me to be able to to that in the right position. I remember one of the nurses telling me, "You don't even know how to feed a baby" and I replied "I am sorry, I was not being taught this as a survival skills".
Yes, breastfeeding is not easy. But I think it's the best thing that creates magic. The bond that you feel with your child, is amazing.
My son is 9 months old and I am still feeding him. And haven't thought of weaning as of now.

I don't really see it that way. my hospital prepared me for breastfeeding during 3 antenatal classes. they showed techniques, duration, latching, correcting, positions, expressing and all. this made breastfeeding process a lot easier for me and I enjoyed it much.
