Introduction of solid food

sneha salkar Mom of a 1 yr 1 m old girl 2 weeks ago
Its usually recommended to start baby with rice and dal water. Along wid this try giving soft foods like fruits and sweet porridges. Its all about the consistency in early days . Two tablespoon each meal is enough to fill baby’s tummy. Gradually when they start exploring food they might have an appetite and would want more of it . Jus try and understand when n how much it increases as baby start to show signs of hunger.

whatever food u introduce, make sure u continue it for a few days to see if the baby is allergic or not accepting & then make changes accordingly. I gave veggies/fruits but avoided potatoes below 1yr age. gradually increase frequency of solids as the baby grows.
