Teething generally starts from 6 to 8 months. For some kids they start by 1year also. Mine son started at 5.5 months. I think each baby takes it’s own time. When baby will start biting everything and while feeding, then you will get hint of teething. You can start then apply and rub oil. Make sure put some oil on baby’s head during teething.

I never heard that oiling has any effect on teething but yes I have heard about soothing gels that can be applied in baby’s mouth and tethers should be given. Rest better to consult a pediatric dentist once.
