is gripe water good for baby

parents used to tell we used for me but when I consulted doctor recommended not to use for my baby boy, any suggestions

add sowf in his food and u wouldn't require to give grip water or any other medicine for the baby's stomach

It's is good but should be recommended by the doctor

Doctors don't recommend gripe water. It contains parabens. If baby is colic then doctors will suggest colic aid.

yes ,there's no need of giving gripe water to your baby as my doctor also said the same thing ,rather if you are disturbed because of your baby's constipation issues,try home made gripe water instead, for that,wash 3 to 4 raisins(kishmish) and let them boil in 2 tablespoons of water ,let the water come to room temperature then squeeze out the raisin extract into the water and give this water to your baby with a spoon,it's very helpful. Also ,sugar mixed in lukewarm water is another great remedy but health wise,always go for the first option first.
