Milk teeth are the temporary teeth which errupts between the age of 6 months to 24 months. In some cases, they start errupting when the baby is 4 months old (this was my case). With the erruption of milk teeth babies can enjoy solids step by step.
The dental formula for milk teeth are 212/212..i.e., there are total of 20 milk teeth a child have.
Milk teeth are replaced by the the permanent teeth.

Milk teeth starts erupting at the age of 6 to 7 months .All the milk teeth erupts by the age of 18 to 24 months.they are 20 in number. As soon as they erupts we should clean them with a finger brush.Gradually switch to kids' brush with some chemical free paste.

milk teeth are lay the foundation of permanent teeth.strong and healthy milk teeth are required for overall development of child as no milk teeth means no proper grinding of food no digestion and no growth.
milk tooth should be cleaned as soon as the 1st tooth arrives in the oral cavity with gauz or cotton cloth then later as other teeth come using brush and non frouride tooth paste till 6 years.followed by flouride tooth paste.giving fibrerous food to eat for self cleansing of teeth and easy breaking of milk tooth so the the permanent teeth can take its proper position
