Brush teeth with an infant toothbrush. Use water and a tiny bit of toothpaste. Talk with your dentist about fluoride.
When your baby's teeth touch, you can begin flossing between them.
When it's about age 2, start teaching your kid to spit while brushing. Don't give water to swish and spit because it could swallow toothpaste.

Deciduous teeth is the official term for baby teeth, milk teeth, or primary teeth. Deciduous teeth start developing during the embryonic stage and then commonly begin to come in about 6 months after birth.
Carefully brush all new baby teeth twice a day with a small, soft brush. Keep in mind that your child may not be able to thoroughly brush or floss on their own until seven or eight years of age. Before using fluoride toothpaste, check with your dentist on how much to use, and whether or not your child needs fluoride supplements.

Milk teeth help a child speak – without them, a child can't form simple words with their mouth to communicate and speak clearly. Milk teeth help children to chew and grind their food properly, which in turn allows good nutritious foods to be included in their diet such as nuts, fruits, vegetables and grains.
