Milk teeth are very helpful for baby to chew their food in small pieces. Milk teeth are also responsible for starting to speak words. Tounge of baby is touched to milk teeth for speak any word, by this process baby speak to fast. Milk teeth are also useful for laughing and making smiles on baby's face.

milk teeth also known as primary teeth or deciduous teeth . first teeth usually comes at the age of 6 to 7 month in some babies they appear late . they have 20 in number , 10 on each jaw ( 2 incisor , 2 lateral incisor, 2 canine , 4 molars). we need to take care of them because they help babies chew and it has to be saved from getting cavity till permanent teeth comes . if teeth get cavity on milk teeth it also affect the parmanent teeth which is below the primary teeth and still developing . if baby teeth get cavity then bacteria get inside and can affect developing permanent tooth bud and there are chances to get cavity on permanent teeth also .
care -
1. we can use lukewarm water and salt to clean baby teeth with brush or finger brush 2 time a day it's natural way to clean baby teeth we can use this from 6 month when the first teeth appears.
2.edible toothpaste I personally suggest that paste can be used after 2 year when babies start using brush or learning it . it's good till your babies don't know how to spitt and it's safe if they swallow the paste.
3 some good habbit which can prevent future cavity it can be done when you start water to your babies. just give 1 to 2 spoon of water after every feed and if baby is bigger give water after meal and every snack it just take all the food from mouth to gut so there is less chance of bacterial growth on mouth.

Milk Teeth play an important role in child's oral health. Baby's teeth (Deciduous teeth)also known as baby teeth, milk teeth or primary teeth, they are the first teeth. They start developing during the embryonic stage and start to erupt through the gums about 6 months after birth. All 20 teeth ccomes out by the age of 2 and half years. This milk teeth help them to chew, speak and smile.

There is a proverb called, Pallu pochu na sollu pochu, so it's very important to care teeth and most important to Milk teeth. Here's how my beloved son himself taking brush and paste and asking us to open the paste for brushing.. STARTING THE HABIT OF BRUSHING.

Proper dental care begins before your baby's first tooth appears. Each day, run a clean, damp washcloth or an infant toothbrush over her gums to clear away harmful bacteria.
These are the things I follow for my daughter..
Brush your baby's teeth with an infant toothbrush. Use water and a tiny bit of toothpaste. Talk with your dentist about fluoride.
When your baby's teeth touch, you can begin flossing between them.
When she's about age 2, start teaching your baby to spit while brushing. Don't give water to swish and spit because she/he could swallow toothpaste.
Even babies can get tooth decay. Putting a baby to sleep with a bottle can harm a baby's teeth. Sugars from juice, formula, or milk that stay on a baby's teeth for hours can eat away at the enamel (the layer of the tooth that protects against tooth decay). This can lead to "bottle mouth" or "baby bottle tooth decay." When this happens, the front teeth can get discolored, pocked, and pitted. Cavities might form and, in severe cases, the decayed teeth might need to be pulled.

When kids are 6 months old, they can switch from a bottle to a sippy cup (with a straw or hard spout). This helps prevent liquid from pooling around a child's teeth.

Milk teeth are not made of milk. They have the same structure as your permanent teeth, and are called milk teeth because they are the teeth your child get while weaning.
Milk teeth are group of 20 teeth seen in childrens from 6 months to 6to7 years but we should take proper care and avoid cavities as they have impact on permanent teeth later.
As we all know that milk teeth are temporary teeth in children or young mammals which fall out as the permanent teeth emerge
