Taking good care of baby teeth will help to prevent cavities that will result in your child experiencing great pain. You should remember that these teeth are vulnerable to decay and cavities. Proper cleaning and care will reduce the possibility of cavities developing.

Use a clean, damp washcloth, a gauze pad, or a finger brush to gently wipe clean the first teeth and the front of the tongue, after meals and at bedtime. Pediatric dentists prefer you use toothbrushes moistened with water and no more than a rice-grain size smear of fluoride toothpaste.

Baby teeth, also called primary teeth, play an important role in guaranteeing of our child has a beautiful smile as an adult. Baby teeth hold space in our child's jaw so that the permanent teeth will come in properly
Carefully brush all new baby teeth twice a day with a small, soft brush. Keep in mind that your child may not be able to thoroughly brush or floss on their own until seven or eight years of age. Start out with products such as Colgate Kids toothbrush and toothpaste, which kids can continue to use when they take responsibility for brushing themselves. Before using fluoride toothpaste, check with your dentist on how much to use, and whether or not your child needs fluoride supplements.

Milk teeth are the primary or first teeth of a child which usually start developing after the age of 6 months. Many of us may think that since milk teeth are going to fall and not permanent, it is not necessary to take yog them. But we must take good care of these teeth because they prepare base for the final teeth.
We can take good care of the baby teeth by wiping their gums after each meal and by maintaining oral hygiene. Also, we must teach children about it.
