It is always a better idea to be a baby for your baby. Let the baby within you play,sing,dance,laugh and live with your baby. Keeping children away from Tv and other gadgets is a bit difficult these days so whenever it is TV time its only Discovery or Animal planet,it has helped her connect herself with the nature,she can recognise most if the animals. I also make it a point that she spends good time with our neighbours too,I can see her socialising. Indoor as well as outdoor games are also part of her daily schedule. I try my best to keep her away from mobile so it is either me or the audio voices for those nursery rhymes.

use back camera of mobile for video call. Also just put mobile little away from th child as he wont be able to see that properly and while video calling play with ur child and talk to her. In this way ur relatives will also see fun activities like smiling, grugling of ur baby amd ur baby also will not much attract to mobile. I also do the same.

I try to not use mobile in front of my baby but whenever some relative gives us an vedio call, we have to show mobile to my baby. Although we limit the time but still my 4 month old knows that it is something that he wants. Please share your thoughts.
