Children are super active now a days. What you do, they will copy you. Firstly it’s better we parents should keep gadgets away, so that they don’t get attracted towards it. Secondly give time to your child. Talk to him, sing few rhymes, tell few stories and keep them engage with their toys. Give them knowledge about different sound effects (animals, birds, vehicles, clock, utensils and so on.)
I am a mother of 6 months old baby boy, my child gets attracted to the things surrounded to us. If I read, he is interested too. If I eat, he is interested too. Music, toys and attracting pictures keeps my baby busy.

colors n book
toys doctor set , baby doll, matching blockes
rhymes
dancing
stories
give them work such count vegetables or fruits
count the members in the family
tell them to put all the things in basket or bag

Spend as much time as you can with the baby by talking and teaching them new thing. Make them learn new things with the help of toys and puzzles. Give a nap time.

just being with you kid and in between make them learn new things in a fun way and let them express their thoughts about their toys and their cooked up lovely stories..day wpuld just fly.

keep baby safe nd avoid to use ifront of them mobail tv nd ect. as possible invest ur time wit them teach them to talk and play and show them animal and birds near by u

Engaging your baby and playing with her/him is quite tiresome somedays. Setting up a rountine for the baby really helps. You can have a dedicated outing time when he goes out to the garden and gets closer to nature, time to play with toys which help in their gross as well as fine motor skills development and when you cut vegetables you can offer him the cleaned and cut piece (if edible like a tomato,carrots,etc to munch), engage them into any daily activity of yours be it gardening or cooking. i give my child the dove i prepare for chapatis, and of course singing rhymes is the most engaging activity where the child might not sing with you in the beginning but catches up later.
v always keep in mind the age of your child while choosing the activity.As even months matter when they are too young.
They can view television with nursery rhymes after they are around 1.5yrs old. But the time should be fixed for that activity too.
Last but not the least .... parents should give their time and love engaging them in every activity.The best receipe which helps children learn is attention and care.
