Any ideas on how to encourage baby to talk. My baby is almost 2 years and I am worried he still isn’t talking much

play more tym with baby and sing yourself for ur baby

ask your baby to talk small small words like grandpa , grandma in your language

ask ur baby some questions like do u want to eat?,or what u want my baby?or recite some rhymes regularly in front of him as babies love music and they try to sing them

You should become like a commentator in a cricket match who is describing in detail various activities being done by the child and people in his or her surroundings...when we speak atleast 500 new words to a child in a day, the child picks up atleast one.. time to reflect!

talk with baby... when you working something tell that to baby for e.g if u are making subji then tell him which sabji you are making , shape of that vegetable, colour of that vegetable etc.

say most commonly words to ur baby n ask him to repeat after you..if one or more words he repeats after you then clap n encourage him to do that again..appreciate for everything he do..he will start talking or responding you as soon as possible

Can you recommend activities which are fun and can be done for this

you can ask him to rearrange the stack ring, block games, shapes, etc n ask him to put them in to bucket etc
