My baby (1year old) cries a lot while bathing. is it normal?

It’s quite common try to distract them by giving toys by making sounds

give some toys and play songs and may be baby will be interested in bathing

Try adjusting water temperature. Another thing to try would be changing the soap. My baby (5 months) used to cry the moment we tried to wash her face with soap but after we switched to gentle baby wash she doesn't cry anymore.

let her play with warm and nice clean water
introduce bath time toys
baby feel comfortable only when mommy's are indulging in bath time

let him play with water nd toys by self for 2-5min after that u can give him shawer....
