Stay at Home Moms Homemakers in making
Is it time to break stereotypes?
If you are a 'Stay at home Mom', you are easily stereotyped as having all the free time in the world & enjoying life in a way that working moms can't. Do you agree that a 'stay at home' mom's life is easier than a working Mom's life or is it just a stereotype created by the society?

nope.. definitely not... it's really absolutely tough being stay at home moms... I have never stayed at home so long after my school days... after child birth I had no other option than to take care of my little sweet hearts.. but it's not that easy... you don't even get time you comb your hair... but when you chose to go for work you will have someone to back you up and you would have made your mind to stay away from your kids for job... in my case I don't have that support and so I had to stay back at home... but I love being like this for my little ones... and truly whole heartedly enjoying motherhood to the core.

m totally disagree with this becoz b4 my daughter birth I was working as a lecturer in a management college but after having my daughter I quit working but it was very difficult to handle all the things at home after becoming a mother.so I bought a baby carrier and whenever I did something I took my daughter in it and then I work but believe me it was very difficult to do everything while carrying ur 3month old baby.so I think a mother's job is d most difficult, non payable and the biggest job of this world coz if u really want to see it baby happy healthy n best then u must have to give the to ur little one

I have been both a working mom and a stay at home and will definitely say the working mom life is better. Here are my reasons:

1. Work gives a big outlet from household and kids work
2. We get to meet people and have more adult conversation
3. Mind is more healthy and brain is more active
4. We are more conscious of the time we spend with the kids and try to put it to the best possible use.
5. Kids learn to be independent
6. Sense of accomplishment when we get something done at work.
7. Better finance

I have resigned when i was pregnant. I would always say that managing a home is more tiring and difficult than working. They manage entire house without expecting anything in return.

managing a month and a half old baby alongwith a family of 7 8 people that too without any domestic help... I wish I could stay with my mom forever. I miss her. my 40 day postpartum period was a bliss with her in my home...

Yes it is stereotype created only and the housewives has to work more than working women.I am working women but I have compared my weekends with my working days and I was more tired on weekends than in working days bcz in Office hours you will get time to hangout with colleagues and have gossips and outside lunch other than work but at time you have to be 100% with your baby.
