I always try to distract him with something more interesting,may be crayons,water colors or when nothing works,I just open window n show him things outside.

my daughter is 4 month old only so don't have much experience, but I will try to make ny child very peaceful. There are so many ways to make child peaceful. we parents and elders in my home not shouting on each others behaviour will be so kind. aI am doing peanayam to learn my child, like she will follow my routine etc.

No doubt taking care of kids single handedly is a great job and requires your patience. I am a mom of two sons. The gap between both is only 13 months only. It is very difficult to maintain harmony between them as they fight and play too much.
Sometimes I become frustrated but then I realize that they are too small to understand and behave like a mature. So I make their sit separately and play when they fight and when they are happy and play together, I too become the part of their game and play with them.
Moreover I try to divert their mind by giving them new toys (not actually new but make them new by keeping old toys picking nicely as if they are new.) .
If that doesn't work I play with them peak a boo or sometimes doing actions on their favorite songs or poems. That becomes fun for them. My young one like to eat fruits specially peeled apple so I give him that to calm him.
