Challenges Faced in Raising a Child

I am a single mother of a 4 months old baby. Challenges faced by a single mother are way too complex as Indian society is not very receptive of such scenarios. I get questions from my neighbors and friends asking about where my babies father is, what does he do, when is he visiting, baby looks like his father etc. It is tough to make them understand about our separation at such a critical junction. while I am very sure if giving him the right upbringing and values, such unwelcoming questions at times scratch the healing wound. Elders advice is certainly important but we also need to be giving respect to to the single mothers who are struggling amd fighting with the society so that their kids are accepted like others.
I can understand that completely. Our patriarchal society generally doesn't understand that the women can live and raise a child with out a man. But please don't let these people affect you. A mother knows what's good for her baby.

Hi I am a mother of 3 month old boy , yes true raising a child all alone is very big challenge even though father of child is with me but when a father is not ready to take responsibility in terms of neither moral support nor financial. Still ego attitude is on sky high. I truely thanks to my mom giving me such a good upbringing which is really helping me to grown my child independently and calmly. She is such a fantastic women in this world. Love u mom to give me this pleasure to be your daughter and again thanks for bringing me in this world even though my grandparents don’t want a girl child after detecting it’s a daughter. Because of you only I am feeling this pleasure to be a mom of 3 month old baby boy. I love you lot my loving mom

Mother of a 6 month old daughter, ahmedabad. The challenges faced by me were whenever I take my baby outside the house,, it gets really difficult to find a place to breastfeed. The biggest shopping malls and the finest restaurants are not baby/infant friendly. The washrooms are not equipped with diaper changing stations and lacking the basic hygiene facility to aid the baby.
its not a big challange dear you used changing room for breastfeed one day i also faced this chalange than shopkeeper offer me to used changing room for breastfeed

being a mother is not only a challenge it's a great responsibility bcoz only mother can build up a healthy society by giving birth to a healthy child, after giving birth she will be facing many challenges in raising a child, she has to protect them in all aspects and to make them confident she has to create a healthy environment which makes them to learn their responsibilities towards themselves and society, healthy children means healthy society so it's a great challenge to be a mother.

I am mother of 11 month old baby. For me it's a start of new jounery of my life which I loved and enjoying a lot. Every day my baby teaches me something new and interesting and make me feel that I am his world .Which is an amazing feeling.Nothing can be best than that.Every time when he tries to walk and fall and again he stand-up to try to walk again realises me that if a baby can make multiple effort to walk than how I can stop with small hurdles of my life. There are so many things which is special about him ..his smile, blinking of his eyes, mamma in his cute voice, his naughtiness....he is my little god I love him a lot
Very true , sweetheart thanks for making my life so beautiful...
