Hi all, My son name is Jitesh Ashok.. Ashok is my husband's name.. When he was in my tummy I use to search name for my unborn baby, by the time my husband use to tell should not search name now itself once He/She comes out will decide.. After my boy born (Nov 3, 2019) from there it took 3 months to select name for my LO. Every day I use to search name but my husband refuses at last he decide this name Jitesh(Meaning Victory).. This is our small naamkarna story

my son's name is Nikkanksh...which is a combination of me(akanksha) and my husband's name(Nikki).when we were in love we used to call each other by a common name nikkanksh..😍so when he came into our life he becomes our nikkanksh

My son is 7months old now. His name is Chitransh. when I was pregnant we have decided that we will make the combination of our name like dishaansh so on. but once he come then pandit g tell us that according to all things like nakshatra an all we have to finalize the name on ch.
after so many names I finalized his name chitransh and pet name chinnu.

Namkaran Ceremony is the 6th Sanskar of Hindu Rituals.
In our kumauni culture Namkaran is done on 11th day of birth.
Priest use to start the pooja and after completing pooja he announce the name of baby after matching in panchang (baby date of birth and time of birth).
Then Mama of baby announce the baby name in baby ears along with mantras.
Hence the Namkaran Sanskar completes and peoples enjoy the namkaran bhaat.

Its our family tradition that the starting letter would be according to raashi.. so my son's name was to start with 'Ve'... So we named our son Vedhansh... Dhan comes from my husband's name Dhana and Sh comes from my names Shruti...😀

My son's name is Reyansh. My husband and me wanted to include letters from our names, R from Rajiv and Sh from Shilpa. Reyansh means the first ray of light.
