Breastfeeding develops a beautiful bond between a mother and a child but still it\'s a hush-hush affair. In India many moms had felt insecure & embarrassed about breastfeeding in public. Share your opinion or story where you had been or witnessed any embarrassment about breastfeeding in public.
Breastfeeding- A household chore!
breast feeding in public places is little awkward but as a mother nothing is impossible so always carry cotton cloths to cover

Most public places do not have a designated feeding room and people often are judgemental and quick to comment that baby is too young to be brought out of home etc. Nobody is kind enough to at least give some personal space to the mother handling a crying infant without being continuously stared (both men and women stare, at least men feel some shame and avoid staring openly).
More awareness is required as even the educated or young people are not comfortable with breastfeeding in public.
