i wish i were a child again so i can be myself .. no worries .. oly happy times .. with toys, teddies,cycle,cartoon network.

I wish I could celebrate Diwali with all my uncles, aunties, cousins at my grandparent's village. There would be less place, but lot of happiness. Children and men slept on the terrace, children under a makeshift roof of coconut tree branches, men under the open sky and women inside the house. Brothers tried to trick sisters into clapping their mehendhi hands together, while they ate sweets in front of us after we applied mehendhi. Every year, there would be a competition as to who woke up first and woke the village with a firework called the "siren". It was true to its name. How we would trick our younger cousins to do work assigned for us. I would give anything to celebrate 1 more Diwali the same away.

I wish I were a child again so that I could sleep on sofa in my mom’s arms and find myself magically waking up from my bed the next morning !
