ya I would say looks do matter ... but tat is just in case of arranged marriage. where in the whole family gets to see a person only if the look/beauty attracts them...

this is not the case in love marriage.. where in the heart of the person is prioritised much better than looks...
a plumpy girl might be loved more than a slim fit girl... tats the abundance of heart ....

so kinda marriage matters .
