who doesn\'t admire atal bihari vajpayee ji, who doesn\'t put an example of Albert Einstein, who doesn\'t want to get compared with Abdul Kalam, or many celebrities like Ramanujan or shakuntala devi or sachin Tendulkar or dhoni or many fearless like Barack Obama, kalpana chawala, sunita williams or fastest like PT usha, or Usain Bolt.
Naming kids on personality or celebrities like them actually keep them alive in our society. Their stories, journey and their power can empower them. so yeah why not to keep them alive in our memories and for coming generation.

every child is different.they are born as unique individuals.the place where i stay ,people give their child\'s name after some successful person so that they become like them when they grow up.this is their belief but for me,my child should have a unique name.God don\'t do copy paste then why should we.let them glow and grow gracefully with their unique names.

I do not believe that a kid should be named after a Celebrity. Our name is our Identity, our Personality, our Uniqueness and also our Brand.
If the name is similar to a celebrity, the person is always compared to that person and is always judged. Besides if the name is too common , the person doesn\'t have a unique identity and is easily forgotten.
Whereas, if the name is unique, the person is unforgettable and holds a special place even in a crowd.

My option says baby name need not to be unique to show off. But it should be inspiring and show have a good meaning. So that you can let your baby understand the meaning to him/her name and they then become to be a good person in life.
Having said that, it’s totally person choice of one.
We have named our baby Abeer- meaning happiness, colourful. Full of life. He is 10 months now and I have made a practice to tell him the meaning of his name.
Note : psychologists say what you teach your baby at within 1st 2 years, it stays with your baby for the rest of his/her life.
