Most times, single mothers cannot count on their family and relatives, and fight their battle alone. Once you become single, suddenly everyone gets busy in their lives. So, work/life balance gets difficult. In most cases, her in-laws abandon her after divorce. Later, they aren’t even responsible towards their grandchildren. For independent single mothers, the only source of income is their job. The sky-reaching expenses and expensive schooling make their life stressful.”

being a single mom in india in very difficult.I myself have witnessed times where either people show over sympathy or they try to pull her leg. It's very difficult

I don’t think so it is as hard as living in another country in facing same problem it’s not about the country it’s about all the problem they face every day .
