A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a \'Son\' rather than a \'Daughter\' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

It doesn’t matter at all if you love being mom because boy or girl both are god’s beautiful gifts for a mother. Motherhood is a joy itself. And when we hold our baby in our arms all we feel is love.

Having a son or daughter should not make any difference but yes mostly people want a son...frankly speaking when I was pregnant everyone said , you will get a baby boy n somewhere I felt maybe it might be a boy..d day I delivered and the doctor said it\'s a girl I was little shocked ...but once I saw my baby girl and took her in my arms I said sorry to her and cried my tears out in joy...the day I breastfed her I realised what motherhood is and that moment was the priceless moment for me and my baby...I always prayed for a healthy child during my nine month pregnancy..either girl or boy both bring happiness and my girl though has doubled my happiness...so don\'t differentiate ..luv my girl

I have been taking care of mom afer marriage too coz I refuse to follow the social norm. my mother did all the things for me that my husband\'s mother did so if it\'s his duty to take care of his mom, so is mine. can\'t walk away saying I am now settled in my own world. I now have a daughter and I am going to raise her in the same way. All parents deserve care and love, irrespective of which side they belong to.
