A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

it's really doesn't matter nw a days..bfr many years it's matters because son is d earng hand of d family nd in past ders ritual to stay in join families so at dat time it's matters bt nw a days girl or boy are equally serving in society nd bth cn do equally wrk fr family..I think girl cn do more...nd bfr many years ders system of donate ur frst child to d dharama.!!as our aayurveda said "eko putra dharmasya"..!!so oldies ppl hv still blf dat frst child shld b boy..!!

No, it not matters for a mother weather she gives birth to a boy or a girl child ....both are her own and a mother never feel difference. But our society feels difference as a boy makes increase in their llineage and makes money, and a girl has to go another house and some of our society thoughts girl is a waste of money...and throw them anywhere after birth as seen now a days.

I don't think so.... as a mother when baby is in our womb we only think that baby should be healthy n safe inside n then when it come in our hand our lill bundle of joy.. no matter it's boy or grl it's our baby whom we love unconditional... so at my point of view baby is mother's world..

Ask a mother who give birth to a girl or boy in a same manner... Those feelings when baby come out are unexplainable... Does it really matter to a mother?? what people thought, what society says is actually not a point of concern.... The fact is we only says that what we get is a gift of God... But we actually feel it like we get the gift of god... After giving birth to a girl child... It should be feel before giving a birth to a baby... The shameless moments are when a girl(woman) ask about to deliver a boy child...
