A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a \'Son\' rather than a \'Daughter\' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

either boy or girl doesn\'t matter.but his or her mentality should be good to them to their parents and to the society
girl and boy where treated only in one way differently that after a age a girl stay with a mother most and after a age a boy stay with a father most , and yes genetically they are different.

but if you notice our mythological stories, the boys have enjoyed all the benefits. When you do namaste, the elders say putra bati bhavah...not putri bati bhavah...
probably that time they were/are thinking a son only do all the rituals when you die..not a girl..
But now the mindset is changing gradually and people are accepting that whether it\'s a boy or girl it doesn\'t matter, they should be a good human.
