Boy V/S Girl

GENDER INEQUALITY Gender Bias in Parenting
Boy V/S Girl
A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

I am strictly against gender biasness.. It doesn't matter if it's a girls or a boy.. But the way you nuture them makes a whole lot of difference.. Gender should never be the criteria to love your baby.. If god has not discriminated in the process of conception and delivery of a male child and a female child then who are we to discriminate between a girl and a boy.. Yes it's true that society has set some rules which no one wants to alter because of which people are still preferring male child over a female child.. Even the females themselves wants to have a boy child because they see there dependency on them in near future.. In india, male child is seen as an investment that parents do to secure there old age..
There are still many doctors who are disclosing the gender of the child befor birth.. In many cases if first child is a girl then parents think that it's ok as there is still another chance for a boy.. When they conceive for the second time they want to get it tested and wants to get rid of it if its a girl child..
Society has made different rules for different gender because of which people are setting their priorities towards a male child.. There is a lot of difference between a treatment of-
a daughter and a son
a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law
a wife and a husband
a female colleague and a male colleague

There was and there is a huge difference between a male and a female because the society..
This is the responsibility of current generation to put an end to this kind of thinking..
