According to me both are equal.As said above desire is there but many accept after the birth... but few small people have these kind of thought which is difficult to change but time teach them that they are wrong

both are equal from point of view of a parent. but when it comes to society & treatment, a girl child has to suffer a lot. secondly, when parents are poor, they think of non capability of protecting & good future of a girl child. this is the reason when even After equality, boy child is preferred over girl child.
